Decade Retrospective: The 2001 class included four 10-year and one 8-year NFL veterans and an 8-year Arena veteran.

Dan Alexander: Spent his first three years with three different NFL teams (Titans, Jaguars, Rams) before heading to the Arena League for the next eight seasons. 'Danimal' was named to the AFL All-Rookie Team in 2005 and was 1st-Team All-Arena in 2007 after scoring a league-record 41 TDs for the Nashville Kats. He played his final seasons with the AFL's Chicago and Alabama squads.

Correll Buckhalter: Buckhalter spent 10 years in the NFL but injuries left him sidelined for three. He stayed with the Eagles until 2008 and with the Broncos until 2011.

Matt Davison: Davison attended training camp with the Bills before being released in August 2001.

Clint Finley: Played with the Cowboys, then the Chiefs (2002-2004) before ending in 2005 back with the Cowboys.

Russ Hochstein: Hochstein's career spanned twelve seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Patriots (2002–2008) where he won Super Bowl rings in 2003 & 2004. During the 2004 season, he played at TE, OT and FB.
Hochstein also played for the Broncos (2009–2011) and end his career with the Chiefs in 2012.

Bobby Newcombe: Newcombe spent 2001 with the Cardinals before finishing his career in the CFL with the Alouettes in 2002

Carlos Polk: Polk played eight seasons, seven with the Chargers before signing with the Cowboys in 2008. A special teams terror as a player, Polk became assistant special teams coach for San Diego in 2009.

Dominic Raiola: As of 2013, Raiola spent his entire 13-year career as the center for the Detroit Lions.

Kyle Vanden Bosch: The twelve-year veteran Vanden Bosch ended his career in 2012 as a three-time Pro Bowl and an All-Pro (2007). Vanden Bosch played for the Cardinals (2001-2004), Titans (2005-2009), and Lions (2010-2012).

Dan Hadenfeldt: Hadenfeldt spent time in training camps with the Patriots and Saints but was unable to stay in the NFL

Loren Kaiser: Kaiser was signed to by the Lions in 2001 and 2002 but was unable to remain with the club beyond training camp

Jason Schwab: Schwab signed with the Redskins but was unable to stick with the team

Joe Walker: The undrafted return specialist Walker spent two seasons in the NFL, playing in all 16 games and starting 3 in his rookie season with the Titans. He was signed by the Colts in 2002 and played in 5 games.
