Decade Retrospective:

Jamie Burrow: Burrow attended training camp for the New York Jets but was released prior to the season.

Keyou Craver: Craver played 10 games his rookie season (1 with start) and 12 games in 2003 but missed the 2004 season. He joined the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos in 2005-06 before heading to Arizona of the Arena League in 2007, and then returning to the CFL's Winnipeg Bl

Eric Crouch: A complicated career that included several leagues and several position changes for the Heisman Trophy winner. The 3rd round draft pick left the Rams after being unable to switch to wide receiver due to injuries. He joined the Packers as a in 2003/04 but was unable to remain with the team. In 2005 Crouch joined Kansas City as a safety and was allocated to the Hamburg Sea Devils of NFL Europe but was later released by the Chiefs. Crouch joined Toronto of the CFL as a reserve quarterback and came off the bench to score a 94-yard TD pass in 2006. He spent much of the 2007 season injured and was released by the Argonauts. In 2011 he joined the Omaha Nighthawks of the unstable United Football League.

Toniu Fonoti: Fonoti started 14 games his rookie season and after spending his sophomore season on IR, he returned to form for season 3 in 2004. In 2005, however, he battled injuries and wieght problems and spent the next few years bouncing around the league. In 2005 he made 1 start for the Vikings; 2006 signed to the Buccaneers practice squad before being picked up by Miami where he played in 6 games but did not start. From 2007 to 2009 Fonoti spent each year with a different club (Falcons, Panthers, Lions) and each time was signed and then released before training camp.

Jeremy Slechta: Slechta spent much of 2002 on the Eagles practice squad before being released during training camp in 2003. Later that season he was picked up by the Texans but was among the final cuts prior to the 2004 season.

Erwin Swiney: The undrafted Swiney remained with the Green Bay Packers from 2002 thru 2004 spending much of the time on the practice squad. In 2004 the Packers allocated him to the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe.

Dave Volk: Volk signed as an undrafted free agent with the Bears but was released at the end of training camp. Later in 2002 he was signed to the practice squad by the Cowboys who later allocated him to the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe in 2004. In 2004/2005 Volk had a short stint with the Arena League's Georgia Force before joining the Alouettes of the CFL.

Tracey Wistrom: Wistrom was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but was waived just prior to the start of the 2002 regular season.
