Even in late 2003 Davies was ranked highly among FBs, and why not? He was the starting FB at Nebraska, great size and speed for the position, etc. But apparently the so-called experts stopped looking at numbers and making assumptions and started looking at on-field production (at least after his sophomore year)- something that likely won't improve his chances of being drafted into the Big League.
