Huskers and the 2000 NFL Draft

<<2000 Draft

Mike~Brown

2nd round, 39th overall
{profile}
Rookie Year
Brown was one bright spot on a bad Bears team, the other bright spot came from rookie LB Ulacher who overshadowed Brown's stellar rookie year. Unlike Ulacher Mike started every game of the year from start to finish.

Ralph~Brown

5th round, 140th overall

Rookie Year
Brown's first season was cut very short due to a kidney injury vs the Bears. In four years at Nebraska Brown was never injured but an odd injury (to the kidney of all places) ended his rookie year.

Eric~Johnson

Rookie Year
Survived cut-down day despite going undrafted, mainly due to his athletism which the coaches said made him impossible to cut. Earned the nickname "Crazy" in training camp and saw action on special teams during the regular season.

    Rookie Year
    Had to step in as a starter late in the season before suffering from the same season-ending injury as the origional starter. In his limited time on the field Warren shined. The Pack has a good player in the making.
