  • [Dillard] NFLInsider.net final analysis: Dillard worked hard all week and gave a lot of effort. He just presents himself as a limited athlete and is one-dimensional on the field.
  • [Asante] NFLInsider.net final analysis: Asante looked good every day in drills but really struggled to bring that into the scrimmage or man coverage assignments. In the end he gave of more than we thought and deserves credit for a solid week.

  • [Dillard] ProFootball.Scout.com: Dillard disguised a blitz nicely and came through untouched for a touch sack
  • DraftInsider.net: Stiff in his hips and looked awkward in agility drills. Never looked comfortable in coverage, but played better against the run. Overall, did nothing to distinguish himself from the group.
  • RealGMFootball.com: The thing that stands out with Dillard is his economy of movement. He’s not real quick but wastes no energy. He plays a little upright and doesn’t get outside real fast, but as a downhill between-the-tackles backer he’s reminiscent of Gerald Hayes of the Cardinals, though Dillard is bigger.
  • [Asante] ProFootball.Scout.com: Asante teed off on Wisconsin TE Garrett Graham on a deep slant, knocking the ball loose. Graham did well to pop right up
  • DraftInsider.net: Asante struggled making plays against the pass in drills as well as scrimmage. He’s a solid run defender and strong, wrap-up tackles.

  • [Asante] DraftInsider.net: Asante surprised us in drills displaying terrific feet and hips. He was explosive out of his plant and showed good hands. For the most part that is where it ended as Asante rarely made plays on the ball once the passes started flying around.
  • NewEraScouting.com saw something different in Asante's hips, "Asante is clearly the slowest of the group (of safeties). Slow to react and his hips are very stiff. On top of that, he dropped a few passes in drill work."
  • RealGMFootball.com also weighed in: "Asante wasn’t much better (than other Senior Bowl safeties). Illinois TE Michael Hoomanawanui blasted him backwards and then got Asante’s feet crossed as he broke it outside. Asante also got caught flat-footed by Dickson on a simple seam route. But he was markedly better than Notre Dame’s Kyle McCarthy, who plays small for his size (6’1”, 210) and shows little range or burst. Both were much better filling the box against the run, and Asante did a nice job of shedding a Dickson block to get in position for a tackle."
  • [Dillard] DraftInsider.net: Really struggled in coverage and doing anything outside the box. Tough, and worked hard but looks like nothing more than a two down, run defender.

  • [Asante] DraftInsider.net: Asante had struggles while covering tight ends in Monday's Senior Bowl practice. Phillip Dillard did not arrive in Mobile until Monday night.
