- [Zach Potter] BigCatCountry.com: Zach Potter: Are you sensing a trend here? Aside from a few Garrard INT's (which were pretty huge) the passing game worked well yesterday. Potter was signed for his blocking, but once Zach Miller went down, Potter caught a couple quick passes and was able to do something with them. His stats were nothing glorious, 2 catches for 14 yards, but he's a reformed D-end. This just shows me that the Jags might have the deepest, most talented TE group of any team in the league.

- From Detroit Free Press: The Fox guys also talked about the Lions' Ndamukong Suh and Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman, who apparently have patched up a rift stemming from their college days.It seems Suh wasn't happy that his buddy had decommitted to Nebraska and went to Kansas State instead. But now Freeman says, 'Suh's my dude,' according to Stockton.Maybe Suh feels better that he's now 4-0 against Freeman, including three Cornhuskers wins. And Freeman has been sacked 15 times -- three of them Sunday -- with Suh getting him twice in college.

- [2011 NFL Draft] Nebraska has three juniors who are likely considering entering the 2011 NFL Draft: Cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, defensive tackle Jared Crick and linebacker Lavonte David. Of the three, it appears Dennard would be the most likely to leave Lincoln early. However, he cites Ndamukong Suh and Prince Amukamara — two Cornhuskers who weighed their options before ultimately returning to school — as a strong reason why returning for his senior year may be the most beneficial. Dennard, however, has stated that he will ultimately do what is best for his mother in Georgia. He said her well-being will ultimately make the decision for him. As of now, it does not appear that any of the three juniors have submitted paperwork to the NFL draft advisory board. Amukamara believes he is staying. Dennard said he will officially decide after the Dec. 29 Holiday Bowl against Washington.

This might have been the craziest Saints' game ever. The Saints jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead, but the fun was just beginning. Before the game would end, the two teams would combine for over 800 return yards. Tyrone Hughes had kickoff returns for TDs of 92 and 98 yards and finished with 347 total for earn Player of the Week honors. Toby Wright returned a fumble 98 yards for the Rams, who also got a freak 103-yard punt return out of the end zone after the Saints didn't cover the punt.
