- [San Diego Chargers] ILB Matt Wilhelm sat out Thursday's practice with a calf injury. He won't play Sunday and will be replaced by Carlos Polk. Tim Dobbins will see some action, too. Polk and Dobbins have struggled in filling in for Wilhelm. (SDBoltReport.com)
- [Philadelphia Eagles] Correll Buckhalter will start Sunday night if Brian Westbrook (abdominal strain) sits out the game. Buckhalter could lose goal-line chances to Tony Hunt, but would have little competition for work in the passing game. He'd be a solid flex or workable points-per-reception RB2 start against a mediocre Giants defense. (RotoWire.com)

-Opening Remarks:
“There are no changes on the injury front. Richie (Incognito) is still questionable. He did another MRI which looked good. It’s improving. It’s still not 100 percent.”
-On if G Richie Incognito’s injury can improve any more within 24 hours
“I don’t know. It’s just a matter of whether it’s the right thing to do; whether he’s going to be setback from it or not and be closer to 100 percent if we do or don’t play him.” (ClanRam.com)

- [Philadelphia Eagles] Press Conference of Special Teams Coordinator Rory Segrest -
-On whether LB Stewart Bradley will be ready to go with his injury:
“I think so, yeah. He came back after that occurred there in the first quarter and he did a nice job for us. I was concerned about it when we put him back in, especially on punt, being able to use his hands. But, I believe that was his next rep. He went out there and he was physical with his punch. So, I think he’ll be able to play through that.”
-On what he said to Buckhalter on the play in the Lions game where he came out and didn’t want to come out:
“We had a communication problem there with the depth there in the endzone. He was only a yard and a half deep. The off returner tried to keep him in, and I should’ve probably let him come on out on that. The rule basically is five or deeper, hold him in there. So, it’s something we worked on this week and I should have that corrected.”

On the status of Richie Incognito: “He is making strides. I don’t know what that means until we see him practice. He has been running and working on it. Very hard to get back on the field. He still has some pain in there on certain movements. I would say he’s still questionable at this point.”
- [St. Louis Rams] Press Conference of defensive coordinator Jim Haslett -
On the play of Adam Carriker: “He played OK. He can play better. Right now he’s in the thinking mode. He’s thinking before he reacts. We talked to him about just going out and playing. Don’t worry about every step you’re taking. Go make tackles, go run to the ball and do all the things you did in the preseason . . . he’ll get better and better as he plays that position. Right now he wants to analyze every block, every scheme.”

"He's sleeping because it's 5:30 in the morning (in Oakland) I'm just trying to mess with him a little bit."
