- [Tennessee Titans] The NFL has fined Tennessee Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch $7,500 for a low hit on Atlanta quarterback Joey Harrington last Sunday.
Vanden Bosch told The Tennessean newspaper that he plans to appeal the fine.
"If you watch the play, I beat the tackle and he grabbed my ankle with both hands, so I am falling down and hit him with my arm, not my helmet or my shoulder or anything," Vanden Bosch said. "I don't know how to prevent that. It wasn't a dirty hit. The guy tripped me so I was going down." (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
